Real Techniques | Miracle Complexion Sponge

4 July 2016

So out with the old, in with the new and this Miracle Complexion Sponge just like a Beauty Blender has served it's purpose well and has been a statement in my everyday make up routine. Now I know it is look rather unwell now but like I said it has been well loved! As for cleaning it, I do rinse it after every use and weekly I would really give it a deep clean by placing it in a cup of washing up liquid and boiling water to sit for half an hour - it really did the job.

As for the new little guy, I can't wait to open it and use it! They are very affordable and you can find other brands that do these little "beauty blenders" but I have found some don't expand all too well under water in comparison to this one. You can purchase the Miracle Complexion Sponge here and the price is so affordable.

As for how to use it - it does have many uses. But to start with running it under luke warm water for a few seconds till you can see it expanding and then squeeze out an excess water. You can use this to apply your foundation by dabbing the product in a patting motion all over your face with your sponge and the same goes for using concealer. I have also found this to work well with cream or liquid contouring too!

What do you think of the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge?

  3. Oooh I've never tired using this sponge to apply my contour, I'll have to try that one. I have both the original Beauty Blender and this one and I honestly prefer the RT one :)

  4. For the first few months of owning it I HATED it, but as soon as I realized it was best used damp then I started to love it. Really impressed with it, but I still love my RT foundation brush slightly more so foundation application.
