THE TWO PRODUCT EYEBROW

29 March 2015

Some days, make up can require so much effort if you really can't be bothered to apply your face. However if you aren't a fan of the whole, brow kits with the gel and powder, let alone trying to conceal to get that precise brow and arch, then the two products above are enough!

I use this combination when I really am feeling lazy! Which is quite often. Oh well! So anyway, I just brush through my eyebrows with a spoolie and lightly start defining my brow and its gaps with the M.A.C eye brow pencil in Spiked, It can look really harsh, so take the spoolie again, and brush through the brow making the results softer and natural.

If you have untamed eyebrows like me, then your bestfriend is going to be the Rimmel London Brow This Way, just run this lightly throw the brow, and there you go!

A defined, yet natural brow which took you no time at all.

HOW TO - STAY ORGANISED - FREE PLANNER PRINTABLE

17 March 2015

Evening guys and gals!
I thought I would dedicate a post to staying organised.  This is something I am quite good at. I have to constantly be organised, as I feel like I don't have control otherwise. So first things first, here are some brief tips on how to gain that organisation!

  • Get yourself a notebook! This is where you can quickly jot down any quick ideas!
  • Purchase a good, cute diary/planner - this is where you can have a clear conscious of whats going on with your blog.
  • Having Pinterest - this is a strange one, but it is useful! I use this all the time, for inspiration and to organise any freebies I find or useful tips for my blog.
  • Make sure you have a pencil case, I like having colourful pens - it just makes me more inclined to be organised in a creative way.
  • And finally, have a clear workspace, which allows you to do your blogging in a way that inspires you constantly.

 I hope those quick tips helped you. I was feeling creative and decided I wanted to create a Weekly Post Planner!
I felt generous, so I thought I was share this with you for a free download! Please feel free to share, just do not use this for commercial use or claim as your own.

Enjoy!

HAIR TUTORIAL - BRAID

15 March 2015

Good evening;
I thought I would share with you guys and gals how I styled my hair today. For those of you who don't know, I change my hair ALL the time. It has been every shade, and I was recently  bright red! However I did think in the end it was washing me out big time! So I stripped my hair, went ginger, put an ash brown on it, then I spent an hour having highlights at about 12% under a dryer. Hah! However I'm so grateful as my sister did a beautiful job as always! Top hairdresser.

So back to this look, it really is quite simple. I believe it looks a lot better with curly, wavy hair as there is more texture to the hair.

  1. Grab a section of hair from the right side of your head, and start french braiding it, grabbing small sections as you go long, secure the end with a hair band and pull at the braids sections making it look messier.
  2. Repeat this step on the other side of your head.
  3. Once you have your two sections, grab the first braid and place it to the back of your head, and pin it with bobby pins.
  4. Repeat with the other braid, however with the ends tuck them underneath each braid, hiding the hair bands.
  5. And you're done! Total time 5 minutes top!

CLINIQUE CHUBBY STICK SCULPTING CONTOUR

12 March 2015

Look at what I got my hands on?!!? I am so excited to try this product. After seeing it around lately and viewing other blog posts about this product I just knew I needed it. I've watched a few tutorials too, and I can't wait to whip out my contour brush to blend this goodness onto my cheekbones!

This is my first EVER Clinique product, the packaging is clean and simple with a fresh feminine design. As for the product, again its simple which is spot on really.

At £19, you can consider this quite pricey, especially compared to your drug store products. However, you are getting your money's worth, and I believe this product will last a long time, due to its pigmentation.

Have you already got this product? If so what are your views on it?

SKINCARE HAUL

8 March 2015

Morning! Lately I've been very much in touch with my skincare. I am obsessed with it, I think its safe to say now anyway. I thought I would do a quick post just to share with you what I've recently purchased. I took a brief look into the Bodyshop as a friend of mine was aiming to get something for her oily skin, it wasn't a great idea on my behalf as it's heaven for me! I purchased 2 products, and I got a shower gel free, as a gift due to the bodyshop card which I also purchased!

Atlas Mountain Rose Shower Gel;
I've used this once so far, it smells divine! Seriously, I could smell on my skin for hours after taking a shower! It didn't dry out my skin either and left it feeling soft and gentle.

Strawberry Fragrance;
I used to have this, never got round to purchasing it again. Times have changed now, as I have fallen in love with this scent all over again.

Vitamin E Overnight Serum Oil;
I have combination skin, with a very oily T-zone so I was quite hesitant about buying this. I'm glad I did as my skin smelt and felt so smooth. I woke up this morning after one usage, and my skin looks more of an even tone! Happy Chelsea.

As for face masks, me and my boyfriend used a peeling one which we both found highly amusing! I haven't used any of the above as yet! But I'm sure these will be great.

Have you used any of these products?

M.A.C - LIPSTICK COLLECTION

4 March 2015

I have a lot of lipsticks, or lip products. But the one thing I don't own a lot of is MAC's lipstick, purely because they are so pricey, when you could buy two or three lipsticks for the equivalent of one MAC lipstick. I only own four, but they are all beautiful shades that are different from each other. The one thing in particular that I love about the lipsticks is that they smell good! Is that weird? But don't you agree? Some lipsticks can smell of crayons or chalk, just not a pleasing smell. Another great thing about these lipsticks is that they last for ages and they are super pigmented!

The lipstick shades I own are (from left to right)

Pink Pearl Pop
Vegas Volt
Rebel
Asian Flower

What are your favourite shades from MAC?

ALL ABOUT MY BASE - FOUNDATION ROUTINE.

1 March 2015

Evening, this evening's post will be about my foundation routine. I always have to have a good base, as long as I've got that, I can just put on my mascara and eyebrows and I am good to go! Unfortunately I have some redness to my cheeks, and I am quite lucky that I don't have any spots, pimples, acne! Whatever ya'll call it! But I hate having an uneven skin tone, and I know many others do too!

So first things first, I apply my MAC foundation - Pro Longwear NC20. This is perfect for oily skin, even though I have combination skin, this foundation is the perfect match for my pale olive skin. I use the Real Techniques buffing brush, in which I just simply use 2 pumps of the foundation, directly onto the brush and just start blending away!

As for the dark circles, I use a lighter shade than my foundation and of course, the concealer I use is Collection - Lasting Perfecting. This does the job for such a cheap price also! I add this directly from the applicator creating a V shape under both of my eyes. I then use a Real Techniques blending brush and just blend, blend, blend!

I sometimes powder my face, not always, depending on the finish whether I want matte or dewy. I use Rimmel London Stay Matte in translucent. I dust this powder with a Real Techniques Kabuki brush all over my face.

As for contour goes, I don't go all out with this step on an everyday basis. But for the days I do, I use Sleeks contour kit, and Real Techniques Contour brush, and by making the duck face I can see my cheekbones. I lightly add the contour here and to the temples of my forehead. I don't apply a lot under my jaw, as I have quite a strong jawline, especially if I smile, so I don't wish to define this.

Finally I can't miss this step, as I love a highlight! MAC - Soft and Gentle is beautiful. I tap this product on the top of my cheekbones and on my brow bone. I can't wait till its summer and I can use this product with a tan!

And that's that!
