How To Keep Your Teeth White

4 September 2017

A smile is really important to me, and I have always been conscious of mine due to my teeth. I have managed somehow to keep my teeth looking quite white and healthy with the help of a routine and 3 products.
I have been sucking my thumb since the day I was born, my mum gave me a dummy instead, thinking once she would take it away I would of forgotten about my thumb. Not a chance, and that still stands at the age of 22. I have been quite lucky with my teeth, I do have all of them, wisdom teeth coming through here and there... but one thing I do have is an overbite. It's not very apparent when I smile but if you were to look at me how you see yourself when you open the facing camera on your iPhone, boy its apparent.

Other than than, my teeth are pretty straight. I didn't need braces and nor did I want them, as I think my overbite adds character to my smile. So like I said, a smile is super important and whilst I don't think I will be able to stop sucking my thumb anytime soon, at least I can make sure my teeth are clean and healthy.

So how do I keep them looking white? I'll be honest, I just brush my teeth 3 times a day. So in the morning when I wake up, I use mouthwash first, never after I brush my teeth as this can wash away any fluoride. I use any Listerine mouthwash, it does change when I need to buy a new one.

As for toothpaste I have been using NU SKIN'S Whitening Fluoride Toothpaste which you can purchase here. It's been a year since I have been using this and I have noticed visible results and I am super happy. It's very gentle on my teeth too and as they can be quite sensitive this is perfect for my teeth.

I then simply repeat these steps, once in the morning, again after work and finally before bed.
