LUSH | Shampoo

1 August 2016

If you didn't know already then I have a huge addiction to Lush, just going in the shop is a must and 99% of the time I always come out the shop with something whether it is just a cute bath bomb or something new for my skincare. For a little while I was keen to try their shampoo and conditioner and my scalp is quite sensitive just like the rest of my skin so I thought I would give it a go.

So like always, every time I have gone into Lush I have been greeted in the loveliest way possible and I am asked if I need any help and I always say yes to that question because I adore the advice they just give me and also I think seeing them speak about a product in an enthusiastic way totally grabs me.

So I purchased Daddy-O and the first reason as to why I purchased this was because it revives my blonde hair and keeps the brassiness at bay - goodbye! This also has lemon and organic lime juice in it allowing the cuticle to lay flat therefore making the hair appear more shinier which is great for us blondes as sometimes it can be difficult to achieve this! It smells amazing and it is so gentle on my hair and I worried that my hair wouldn't feel clean after using this, but it definitely does. You can buy this HERE.

American Cream - this conditioner I have to admit, it sold me first by the name which is silly I know, but the fact that it's like a milkshake conditioner too, well I love milkshake alright? It smells of strawberries and cream and just every time I use it I wish I could drink it, like seriously. Why is it good for your hair? My hair is bleached and I need a serious hardcore conditioner and I thought hmm this might not be enough for my thick locks but it is! Enriched with vitamin C too my hair feels so soft and is so easy to comb through afterwards. The best thing about this conditioner is the calming properties which is what my poor scalp needs, it contains clary sage and lavender. Purchase this conditioner HERE.

So have you used any of shampoos and conditioner from Lush? I'm eager to try out the solid bars too so let me know in the comments!

  4. The American Cream conditioner smells so so good, I agree 100% but it did nothing for my hair in terms of conditioning! I was pretty gutted but I expect a conditioner to make my hair really soft afterwards and this just did nothing for it :(

    1. Oh no really? Some conditioners have a lot of silicone in it which make the hair feels soft and silky and this conditioner is so natural it took my hair some getting used to! I used loads of it though! X
