A SMALL BEAUTY HAUL THAT DIDN'T BREAK THE BANK

12 April 2016

So the title is the definition of this blog post entirely, I decided to purchase a few really cheap products to try out and add to my collection. I have heard so many great things about the MUA Velvet Lip Lacquers it was silly to turn down at just £3.00 each!

They are amazing in actual fact, way beyond what I thought they were going to be! So the colour is amazing, I purchased the shades Unity  and Harmony and they are the perfect pastel/nude shades just ready for spring. As for the packaging these do remind me of the Gerard Cosmetics Liquid Lipsticks however they look high end and are of good quality. The application is so smooth and they are very pigmented and at £3.00 I was not expecting this! One thing I will say which I do find with some liquid lipsticks is that they can be very drying so I do tend to apply lip balm before application but I will be buying more of these!

I have finished my most recent brown gel, I have been getting something that is tinted but then it struck me the other day that every time I do apply the brow gel, it has been ruining my desired look for my eyebrows and I am so clumsy to the point that I kept accidentally touching just above my brow with the wand leaving brown streaks. So I spotted this clear mascara from Natural Collection and it was probably the best thing I have done - at £1.99 I won't be purchasing anything else, as I was just after something that was going to set my eyebrows in place without touching the colour of my brows and this is exactly what this does for me.

Finally, The Make Up Revolution Ultra Cover and Conceal Palette I purchased this for £6.00 and I thought it was going to be pretty good, now I didn't have really high expectations and I have tried a few shades on my skin but they just don't seem that pigmented? They are really oily so I wouldn't recommend this for someone with oily skin. But I'm going to keep trying the other shades and seeing how I feel further more about this. But for £6.00 you can't complain!
