FEBRUARY FAVOURITES

28 February 2016

So where did February go? Like seriously I know it doesn't have many days but come on, I feel like I slept throughout the majority of February!
I don't always do a monthly favourites only because I am trying to be sensible and save for a house so  I don't tend to have many spontaneous purchases — however I feel like I haven't treated myself since Christmas so I thought I would try out some new products.  I have found a lot of love for all of the products pictured above and I have been using these pretty much everyday as I can't get enough!

1. Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette; I thought that no brand could ever create great eyeshadows like Urban Decay but how wrong was I? I tried out this palette and went full on it with the shade Warm Notes (I only purchased this palette for this shade) and it was like a buttery goodness going onto my eyelid, it blended like a dream!! I have used every shade in this palette and they are all incredibly smooth and so easy to apply and blend and I can't even begin to tell you how pigmented they are so next month I am buying a few more of these palettes from Zoeva.

2. Maybelline Lipstick | 740 Coffee Craze; I was never much of a huge fan of a real nude lipstick, I'm talking proper nude, no pink tone, full on brown tone if you understand me! I tried this, spotted it, gave it a whirl and now I am on the lookout for more shades like this as I have been pairing this lipstick up with every eyeshadow look using the Zoeva Palette and it is a 10/10! I don't know if it's just me but it tastes like candy floss on the lips which is just another bonus for me.

L 3..A Girl Pro Conceal; I do love my MAC Pro Longwear but it is kinda expensive to be using daily, and I have read many beautiful things on this concealer from L.A Girl and I just thought why not? The price is attractive and the packaging is great and it squirts out of the brush which makes it easier to apply for a lazy girl like me so it was shouting at me. Again, best thing I done was purchase this little beauty as the coverage is great. I purchase a very light shade so it can do me a favour and highlight underneath my eye area and it is the best.

4. GOSH Velvet Touch Primer & Setting Powder; I've been seeing that Baking technique everywhere, blowing up on my Instagram Feed and my Youtube so I thought I'll try this also - I wanted something kinda cheap though and at £9.99 I thought good stuff about this. If you haven't already been introduced to Baking then go get yourself onto Youtube and check it out as it makes that contour pop and your under eye highlight last forever!

5. NIVEA MEN Sensitive Post Shave Balm; Weird huh? I saw this hype, watched the reviews etc, etc. Besides smelling like a man for a little while I don't think I'll be purchasing any other primer again. That's right a PRIMER - it literally keeps hold of your foundation and all the rest of that beautiful art you have created on your face and protects it from fading and just disappearing off your face. I actually don't know who established this but whoever did you have saved many of us — hallelujah!

6. Eye Of Horus Goddess Mascara; Best mascara actually, like I even think I prefer it to my Benefit They're Real Mascara and that is only because I kind of get panda eyes despite powdering my under eye area. You need to read the reviews on this and even look at the results and you can apply as many coats and it does not look like you have about 8 spider legs attached to your eyes.
Formulated with Natural Waxes and Oils along with Antioxidants, essential Fatty Acids and Vitamins, Goddess Mascara achieves maximum coverage whilst lengthening, volumising, protecting and nourishing the lashes. The natural based formula won't clump, run or smudge and gives the perfect finish to your eyes to awakening your inner Goddess.

Above is a description about the product from Beauty Bay and I couldn't agree more with all of the above, as it does your eyelashes so many favours so go purchase yourself one!

Have you tried any of these products?

  1. You guys have so many different brands and products in the UK versus Canada. Some of these I don't know if I can even get but they sound amazing. Have you ever tried out Mineralissima (http://www.mineralissima.com)? I think they're based out of the UK since my cousin that recommend to me is in London. Do you know it they're any good?
